The story begins when the devil Dhoulmagus broke into Trodain Castle and stole his staff. With dark power, he turned all the people living here into statues, the king was turned into a goblin and the princess became a horse. The only person not affected was Trodain, a young guard who decided to accompany the king and princess to restore Trodain and also to destroy the evil Dhoulmagus. With beautiful 3D graphics, you will control the character under the third perspective, the top screen will display the character and environment, and the bottom screen will display the map. In battles, there will be many different action options displayed on the main screen, while the screen below will show the character’s stats. When fighting you can also use the command “Psyche Up” which allows the character to skip a turn to increase the damage for the next turn. In your journey, you also encounter many new allies, they will follow you and support combat. Like games of the same genre, when winning battles, characters also gain experience points to level up and become stronger and learn new skills. Overall, the game retains the most quintessential of the series, in addition to full 3D graphics, the world is now more alive than ever, the camera also moves 360 degrees to give you the Look at the most in battles.

Break the curse. Mend the world.

Uncover the story of the Cursed King as you save the world from a twisted magician in this genre-defining role-playing game. Across the vast world, you’ll wage turn-based battles against more than 250 monsters designed by artist Akira Toriyama. This updated classic also includes new dungeons, bosses, items, quests, scenes, and a new possible ending!

There’s a rhythm to fighting, earning items, using them to craft something better in the alchemy pot, and returning to battle, stronger than ever. As you level up, upgrade your warriors’ skills to learn mighty attacks. For the first time, Red the bandit and Monster Arena owner Morrie join your party as playable characters! There are also new outfits that change each hero’s look, which makes for some perfect in-game photo ops. You can share the pictures you take via StreetPass™ encounters. Plus, you can form and battle teams of monsters to earn rewards in the Monster Arena. Now the must-play version of this classic game is exclusive to the Nintendo 3DS™ family of systems.
