The story takes place after Doctor Eggman is defeated by Sonic and left behind in space with his two robots, Orbot and Cubot. Suddenly a mysterious time entity flies by, realizing his opportunity Eggman uses its power to return to the past and cooperate with his past version. They now attempt to attack the past Sonic, but the current Sonic has also come and teamed up with his past version, together they seek to prevent Eggman’s plan to restore the world. Join the game, you will control two versions of Sonic, your task is to overcome complex terrains, collect rings and fight enemies. When controlling Sonic in the past, the gameplay will focus on the classic side scroll, now you can perform Spin Dash and Spin Attack. As for the current Sonic control, the game’s gameplay will switch between side-scrolling and a third-person view. During the game, you will encounter many interesting items to help increase the speed and power of the character.
